<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide table whose table plate has a large rotatable angle and has sufficient load resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The slide table has a table plate 13 supported slidably on a base 11 with a plurality of support units 21 interposed. Each of the support units 21 includes a fixed support plate 22 fixed to the base and having an opening 22a in the center, and a slide support plate 25 arranged slidably on an upper surface of the fixed support plate with a sphere holding plate 23, holding a plurality of spheres 27 and having an opening 23a in the center, interposed, and having a slide limit shaft 28 extending into the opening 22a of the fixed support plate. Then the openings 22a and 23a are both rectangular each having one long diameter, and both arranged having directions of long diameters along a tangent 13c to an arc having its center at the center point of the table plate, and means 33 of limiting a slidable range of the sphere holding plate by engaging the sphere holding plate 23 and the fixed support plate 22 respectively is provided so as to diable the spheres 27 to move into a region of the opening 22a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
