<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve data frame retransmission control at a lower level layer in a communication system performing automatic retransmission control of a data frame, by function allocation to a data transmission device and a data reception device without adding modification to a layer 3 switch. <P>SOLUTION: A communication system 100 includes a data transmission device 1-1 and a data reception device 20-1.
