The method involves rolling opposite side areas (10a, 10b) of a truncated pyramid form rolling stock (2a) in a direction during rolling pass sequence such that a base area (4) and a top area (6) of the rolling stock oriented transverse to a rolling direction exhibit same areas at an end of the rolling pass sequence. The rolling stock is turned at 90 degrees. The opposite side areas of the rolling stock are rolled in another direction (R2) transverse to the former direction during another rolling pass sequence. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a rolling train (2) a machine-readable program code comprising control commands to perform a method for rolling the rolling stock in a rolling train (3) a storage medium comprising a program code to perform a method for rolling the rolling stock. |
