The present invention relates to a folding fire escape. In particular, the invention provides a folding fire escape comprising an aluminium platform; an aluminium ladder; a folding railing with a non-inflammable canvas attached on three sides; a release lever mounted on the inside wall of the dwelling house; these four main components form a folding fire escape which will be fitted on the wall of a dwelling house outside of a bedroom or bathroom window. There are three states in which the folding fire escape is identified; the first state is its folded or closed state, the second is its opened or unfolded state, and the third is its main functioning or escape state. The advantage of this invention is that its strong structure provides a secure reliable folding fire escape for every home, business or hotel.
