<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration damping device of a type of being assembled on a member at a vibration receiving side by bending a plate part of a fitting, for suppressing the occurrence of crack in the bent corner of a rubber elastic body. <P>SOLUTION: This engine mount 1 includes a first fitting 3 to be mounted on the side of an engine, a second fitting 5 to be mounted on the side of a vehicle body, and the rubber elastic body 7 for connecting them. The second fitting 5 has the plate part 25 and a protruded part 15 protruded upward from the plate part 25, and can be fixed at a root portion 15a of the protruded part 15 to a lower side beam portion of a mounting bracket by bending the plate part 25. The rubber elastic body 7 is adhered to the second fitting 5 to cover the protruded part 15 and the plate part 25. The rubber elastic body 7 has a recessed portion 37 formed in a site corresponding to the root portion 15a located at the bent edge of the plate part 25 when bending the plate part 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
