<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a soundproof material which is light in weight and excellent in sound adsorption performance and sound insulation performance.SOLUTION: A sheet-like base material made of a fiber body is formed by making 40 to 75 wt.% of fibers A essentially including ultra-fine fibers having 0.1 to 1.0 decitex in size, 15 to 60 wt.% of fibers B essentially including heat fusible fibers having 1.2 to 5.0 decitex in size, and 0 to 20 wt.% of fibers C essentially including short fibers having 1.2 to 5.0 decitex in size cross-connected by an opener by either of a fleece machine or a carding machine. One surface of the base material is heated with 100 to 240°C and pressurized for a prescribed thickness and retained for the period of 0.5 to 10 seconds, a plate-like soundproof material having a high density ventilation adjusting film is formed on one surface of the base material, the plate-like soundproof material forming the ventilation adjusting film is heated by a heating furnace so as to be easily formable, and the heated plate-like soundproof material is compression-molded while being cooled by a press die having a prescribed shape, thereby forming the heated plate-like soundproof material into a prescribed shape.</p> |
