JOINT APPARATUS OF UPPER AND BOTTOM PRECAST SEGMENT FOR PRECAST BOX CULVERT, AND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR THE SAME

The present invention provides a joint apparatus of an upper and a bottom precast segment for a precast concrete (PC) box, and a construction method for the same. A high tension bolt is mounted on an embedment insert of a bottom precast segment to mount the embedment insert on an embedment connection box of an upper precast segment, and the upper and the bottom precast segment are then integrated into each other to eliminate deformation of a rebar caused by omission of a conventional welding portion. Moreover, the high tension bolt is used to secure uniform quality; joint portions of the upper and the bottom precast segment are integrated to improve durability; and a quantity of rebars can be reduced as the hinges can be removed.
