An imaging apparatus (100) according to the present invention includes: a first optical system (23); a second optical system (24); a light receiving unit (28) that includes a first region on which the light emitted from the first optical system is incident and a second region which is different from the first region and on which the light emitted from the second optical system is incident; a read address setting unit (53) that sets pixels in the first region and pixels in the second region as read target pixels; a timing generator (34) and an AFE unit (35) that read pixel information from each of the pixels in the first region and the pixels in the second region which are set as the read target pixels; and an image processing unit that generates a polarized image from the pixel information of the pixels in the first region and generates an unpolarized image from the pixel information of the pixels in the second region. |
