The present invention relates to a post of a vehicle protection fence, and more specifically, to an impact-absorbing apparatus for a guard rail end which connects a lower rail and an upper rail to simultaneously move the upper and the lower rail when a vehicle collides to maximally absorb an impact by the collision. According to the present invention, the impact-absorbing apparatus for a guard rail end comprises: a lower post embedded in the ground; an upper post which is mounted on an upper portion of the lower post, and can separate from the lower post when a vehicle collides therewith; a lower rail which is mounted on the upper post, and can move relative to the upper post when the vehicle collides therewith; an upper rail which is mounted on the upper post in parallel with the lower rail, and can move relative to the upper post when the vehicle collides therewith; and a rail connection bar connecting the lower rail and the upper rail.
