PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for optical fiber capable of improving cooling efficiency by suppressing a coolant gas leak.SOLUTION: A cooling device 7 for optical fiber is equipped with a pair of cooling device bodies 21A, 21B that is arranged face to face to form an insertion hole 29 through which an optical fiber G1 can pass, and cools the optical fiber G1 passing through the insertion hole 29. The cooling device 7 for optical fiber is further equipped with supporting members 25A, 25B to support each of the cooling device bodies 21A, 21B along the direction of movement of the optical fiber G1. The cooling device bodies 21A, 21B are each fixed to the supporting members 25A, 25B at the center by bolts 26A, 26B, while being connected to the supporting members 25A, 25B at both ends by bolts 26A, 26B slidable in the direction of movement of the optical fiber G1. |
