PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label peel device capable of appropriately peeling a label section from a mount.SOLUTION: A label peel device comprises: a holding section 3 capable of holding label paper P fed from a label printer discharging ink onto the label paper P; and a peel unit 6 being provided closer to a downstream side than the holding section 3 in a feed path of the label paper P and peeling a label section Pb from a mount Pa. The peel unit 6 can be moved back and forth between a peeling start position spaced apart from the holding section 3 and a peeling end position closer to the holding section 3 and includes a peeling member 28 folding back the mount Pa only out of the label paper P and a peeling feed roller 46 being provided closer to a downstream side than the peeling member 28 in the feed path of the label paper P and feeding the label paper P. The peeling member 28 is moved from the peeling start position to the peeling end position by being pressed by the label paper P fed by the peeling feed roller 46 in a state of being held by the holding section 3.
