PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of selecting excellent blast furnace slag by predicting accurately an activity index, even if the quality of the blast furnace slag is dispersed.SOLUTION: A selection method of blast furnace slag includes a basicity calculation step for determining a basicity from chemical components in the blast furnace slag, a bulk density calculation step for determining a bulk density of the blast furnace slag, an index calculation step for determining an index A of an activity index of the blast furnace slag from the basicity and the bulk density, and a selection step for selecting the blast furnace slag based on the index A. |
