PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable electrophotographic photoreceptor that generates no image memory and can stably provide high-quality images, and an electrophotographic image forming method using the electrophotographic photoreceptor.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor of the present invention has at least a photosensitive layer and a surface protective layer on a conductive support, and the surface protective layer includes at least a resin obtained through polymerization of cross-linking polymerizable compound and metal oxide fine particles, contains a sensitizing dye contributing to photoexcitation of the metal oxide fine particles, and is electrostatically discharged by electrostatic discharge light comprising only light at a wavelength of 500 nm or more. |
