PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual inspection apparatus which can be installed in a small space, a visual inspection method, and a PTP sheet manufacturing apparatus including the visual inspection apparatus.SOLUTION: A visual inspection apparatus 5 includes: irradiation means 6 which is arranged on one side of a band-like PTP sheet 1A, to irradiate the band-like PTP sheet 1A with light; reflection means 7 which is arranged on the other side of the band-like PTP sheet 1A, to reflect the light passing through the band-like PTP sheet 1A; imaging means 8 which is arranged at the side of the reflection means 7 arranged on the other side of the band-like PTP sheet 1A, to image the light reflected from reflection means 7; and an image processing apparatus 9 which processes image data output from the imaging means 8. The image processing apparatus 9 detects a break formed in a band-like cover sheet 4, on the basis of the image data. |
