PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neutron scintillator with a wavelength conversion fiber for collecting lights, which can precisely measure neutrons even when there is a high dose of γ rays as background noise, and a neutron detector using the neutron scintillator.SOLUTION: There is provided a neutron scintillator formed of a resin composition containing inorganic phosphor particles having a neutron capture isotope of at least one type selected from lithium 6 and boron 10, and a wavelength conversion fiber with at least a part thereof contained in the resin composition, the ratio of the distance between the center axis of the wavelength conversion fiber and the outer wall surface of the resin composition to the diameter of the wavelength conversion fiber being in the range of 1 to 10. |
