PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a worm reduction gear and an electric power steering device including the same, capable of reducing generation of noise caused by movement in a radial direction, of a worm shaft.SOLUTION: A worm reduction gear 17 includes a housing 17a, a worm wheel and a worm shaft 18 accommodated in the housing 17a, a first bearing 30 loosely fitted to the worm shaft 18, a step portion 181 disposed on the worm shaft 18 and opposed to the first bearing 30 in the axial direction X, an elastic body 42 axially held by the step portion 181 and the first bearing 30, and a stopper 44. The stopper 44 is disposed on the elastic body 42 with clearances P3, P4, so that deformation of the elastic body 42 to an outer side in the radial direction R by being kept into contact with the elastic body 42 from the outer side in the radial direction R of the worm shaft 18, when the load received from the worm shaft 18 by the elastic body 42 is increased. |
