Headings E1A, E1G and E1W. A building structure comprises an essembly of a plurality of triangular building units 100 Fig. 4, securing means rigidly securing the units 100 in edge to edge coplaner relationship and supporting means comprising at least one support column for supporting the assembly of units in substantially horizontal position. The support columns may be mounted beneath the corners of adjacent units or may support the assembly of units through suspension cables as in a suspension bridge Figs. 24, 25 (not shown). The means securing the units together may comprise, brackets such as 116 at adjacent corners of slabs, cables 107 placed under tension around the periphery of an assembly or a spider member 224, Fig. 10 (which may be a section of a column) located between the corners of the units meeting at the centre of a polygonal assembly of units. Assemblies according to the invention may be used in pavilions, single or multistorey buildings for example a honeycomb like bunglow, Figs. 16, 17 (not shown) roadways, overpasses and bridges.
