The present invention relates to a composition for whitening or improving facial color. The composition comprising ginseng, Typha angustata, Cinnamomi Cortex, Paeonia lactiflora, Rehmannia glutinosa, Angelica gigas Nakai and a mixed extract or fractions thereof as active components according to the present invention has a whitening effect by controlling melanin synthesis, thereby being used as a cosmetic composition for whitening or improving facial color.
