The present invention relates to a device for selecting foreign substances in a cockle sorter, which is to select and collect foreign substances such as a shell or a damaged cockle from cockles of good quality. The device for selecting foreign substances in a cockle sorter collects foreign substances such as the shell or the damaged cockle separated from the cockle of the good quality in a cockle selection frame comprising an outer selection frame and an inner selection frame. The device for selecting foreign substances in a cockle sorter collects the foreign substances or the damaged cockle by including a collection chamber in the lower part of the cockle selection frame and includes a transfer conveyor in the lower part of the collection chamber in order for the collected foreign substances or the collected damaged cockle to be selected in a selecting container by moving through the transfer conveyor. The device for selecting foreign substances in a cockle sorter includes an auxiliary collection chamber in the lower part of the inner selection frame so that the damaged cockle or the foreign substances which are smaller than a gap between rods of the inner selection frame. |
