Provided are an article summary service and a method thereof. The article summary service server includes: an article acquisition unit for acquiring an article distributed by a publisher; a keyword selection unit for selecting at least one keyword from a title or at least one first sentence of the article; a connection centrality evaluation unit for generating a graph including multiple nodes corresponding to multiple sentences of the article, evaluating connection centrality of each node of the graph by using the selected keyword, and selecting at least one second sentence of the article by using the evaluated connection centrality; and an article summary unit for generating a summary of the article consisting of the first sentence and the second sentence.
