PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game system, a communication game processing method, and the like which enable players to form a group with members they like and to play a communication game.SOLUTION: A game system includes: a matching processing part which creates a room corresponding to a key word when a participation request to a group comes from a terminal device of a first player who has inputted the key word and performs processing to allow a second player to enter the room when a participation request comes from a terminal device of the second player who has inputted the same key word to perform matching processing that has players who have inputted the same key word belong to the same group; and a game processing part which performs processing for a communication game using the group formed by the matching processing.
