PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that facilitates traverse transfer of message fragments through a network.SOLUTION: In operation, a system receives a packet which corresponds to a fragment in a message and includes a fragment header. The system stores, in a data structure, mapping relation between the fragment header and a hierarchically structured variable-length identifier (HSVLI), and the HSVLI includes elements having successive names sequenced from a most general level to a most specific level. The system makes a transfer determination on packets based upon fragment headers before receiving all fragment packets related to the message, and thereby facilitates traverse transfer of message fragments via a network. |
