PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor in selecting a FAX transmission destination and to prevent erroneous transmission as further as possible.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus acquires a file from a file creation device and acquires address book information including FAX numbers from a device including a FAX function. A character string is extracted from a predetermined position in a file name of the acquired file, and the extracted character string is collated with the acquired address book information, thereby identifying a FAX number of a transmission destination of the acquired file. |
