PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide teat pack materials in teat packs used for preventing teats of a dairy cattle from mastitis mainly during a non-milking period of livestock, which facilitate kneading operation immediately before use of the teat pack material for forming teat packs, and maintain elasticity for a long time after forming the teat packs and also are reduced in deformation due to drying, and thereby closely contact with the teats for a long time and can protect the teats.SOLUTION: Livestock teat pack materials are the materials for forming gelatinous teat packs being closely contacted with the teats of livestock. The livestock teat pack materials comprise at least (A) alginate, (B) water, (C) a low volatile water-soluble solvent, (D) a poorly water-soluble solvent and (E) a polyvalent metal compound. |
