PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device whose design lighting is switched to any of a plurality of types of light source colors, capable of keeping lighting balance even if lighting is carried out by any types of light source colors.SOLUTION: A vehicle measuring instrument serving as a display device comprises a nameplate 2 having a design 22 formed on a surface 21 thereof. Red LEDs 8 and blue LEDs 9 are disposed on a rear surface side of the nameplate 2, and the LEDs 8 and 9 light the design 22 with red or blue. A dot layer 5 is formed on a rear surface 23 of the nameplate 2 for keeping lighting balance among respective regions of the design 22. The dot layer 5 includes a first dot layer 51 and a second dot layer 52. The first dot layer 51 is formed on the basis of layout positions of the blue LEDs 9, has a light blocking effect for blue light and light transparency for red light. The second dot layer 52 is formed on the basis of layout positions of the red LEDs 8 and has a light blocking effect for the red light and light transparency for the blue light. |
