PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle detection device in which a decline in detection sensitivity due to an abnormal electric discharge is suppressed.SOLUTION: A particle detection device comprises: an enclosure having an introduction port and an exhaust port facing the introduction port; a collection cylinder 190 located inside the enclosure and extending from the introduction port side to the exhaust port side; a discharge unit, located inside the enclosure, for causing the particles included in the air introduced from the introduction port into the enclosure to be charged with electricity; a collection unit for causing the particles electrically charged by the charge unit to be adhered to a collection member by an electrostatic force and collecting the adhered particles; and particle detection means for detecting the amount of organism-derived particles that are included in the particles collected by the collection unit. The collection unit includes a conductive frame part 177 surrounding the outer circumference of the collection member and electrically grounded to earth, and having a surface facing the discharge unit. The collection member has a surface facing the discharge unit and has its surface opposite the surface facing the discharge unit electrically grounded to earth. |
