The present invention relates to a cleaning apparatus for a dry type road sweeping vehicle, which provides an improved performance of sucking foreign substances on a road surface and can effectively suck scattering dust. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the cleaning apparatus for a dry type road sweeping vehicle comprises a sweeping device, a sucking device and a connecting part. The sweeping device is disposed at both sides of a body frame of a vehicle and can accommodate scattering dust while wiping up foreign substances on the road surface. The sucking device is disposed in the lower part of the body frame in a widthwise direction and can suck foreign substances wiped by the sweeping device. One end of the connecting part is connected to the sweeping device and the other end of the connecting part is connected to the sucking device and guides dust accommodated in the sweeping device to move to the sucking device by transmitting a part of the sucking force supplied to the sucking device.
