The invention relates to apparatus for manufacturing a reinforced cellular material and for taking up a semi-finished textile product in a hook. In this arrangement the apparatus comprises a first sub-unit with a transport device as well as a second sub-unit with an uptake device. The transport device is equipped to convey the semi-finished textile product into the uptake device, and the first sub-unit and the second sub-unit are equipped such that as a result of a relative movement of the first sub-unit relative to the second sub-unit the semi-finished textile product can be laid at a defined length. Furthermore, the uptake device of the second sub-unit is designed such that as a result of a relative movement of the uptake device relative to the hook the semi-finished textile product can be placed in the hook.
