PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece support tool made of carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material, which can stably support a cylindrical workpiece, such as gear, within a furnace and can separately convey the individual workpiece.SOLUTION: A workpiece support tool 10 within a heat-treating furnace includes: a first support plate 1 that comprises a plate material made of a carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material and that is erected so that the plate thickness direction thereof is located along a support surface within the heat-treating furnace; and a second support plate 2 that comprises a plate material made of a carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material and that is erected in a direction intersecting with the first support plate 1 by engaging with the first support plate 1. The first support plate 1 and the second support plate 2 include: erected portions 1A, 2A erected within a central opening portion W1 of the workpiece W; and a pair of leg portions 1B, 2B extending in the right and left directions at bottoms of the erected portions 1A, 2A to support the bottom surface of the workpiece W. The first support plate 1 includes a grip portion 1C in which a grip hole 1C1 is opened at the upper center of the erected portion 1A. |
