PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform synchronization among base stations stably.SOLUTION: A base station 1 includes: a clock signal generation part 20 for generating a clock signal; a radio receiver 11 for receiving a radio signal; a demodulation part 12 for demodulating the radio signal; a synchronization signal detection part 13 for detecting a synchronization signal from the radio signal; a synchronization signal presence determination part 14 for determining that the detected synchronization signal is usable or not; a phase shift detection part 15 for calculating a phase difference between the synchronization signal and the clock signal, and generating phase shift information presenting the phase difference; a phase shift storage part 16 for storing the phase shift information; a correction signal generation part 17 for generating a signal for synchronization with a corrected clock signal by using the phase shift information; a selector 18 for selecting and outputting a signal from either the synchronization signal or the signal for synchronization; and a transmission/reception timing counter 19 for setting transmission/reception timing based on the selected signal. The selector 18 selects the synchronization signal if the synchronization signal is useable, and selects the signal for synchronization if the synchronization signal is not usable.
