In accordance with the invention there is claimed a process for the production of a multi-layer pressed board (50;70), which comprises the following steps: -applying a first layer (34,44,64) of a first material (24) to a support base (14), -applying a second layer (36,46,66) of a second material (26) to the first, still unpressed layer, and -pressing at least the first and second layers (34,36;44,46;64,66) to provide the pressed board; wherein one material of the first and second materials (24,26) is a cork material (24) for production of a pressed cork board and the other material of the first and second materials (24,26) is a wood material (26) for production of a pressed wood board. The invention further concerns the manufacturing installation for the production of a multi-layer pressed board, which operates in accordance with a process according to the invention. Finally the present invention concerns a pressed board produced in accordance with the invention. |
