Disclosed is a method to select a general function for diagnosing a fault of a bearing. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method to select a general function for diagnosing a fault of a bearing comprises: a step of selecting a general function candidate group to detect a fault signal which may be generated in a bearing; a step of calculating a mean peak ratio (MPR) by dividing a frequency section on all types of fault signals respectively, based on general functions included in the selected general function candidate group; and a step of selecting the general function and the frequency section, capable of detecting all types of fault signals based on the MPR for all types of fault signals respectively. |
