PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an opening property of an inlet valve and suppress collision of the inlet valve against a piston.SOLUTION: A hermetic compressor comprises: a valve plate including an inlet; and a valve body provided on a surface of the valve plate opposite to a piston and capable of opening and closing the inlet, the valve body being of a convex shape in a direction apart from the inlet in a still standing state and elastic to return to the convex shape at a time of deformation of the valve body, and the valve body generally linearly deforming when the inlet is closed by an operation of the hermetic compressor. |
