摘要 A method for making a lithium ion battery cathode is provided. A carbon nanotube source including a plurality of carbon nanotubes is made. A cathode active material including a plurality of cathode active material particles and a solvent is provided. The carbon nanotube source and the cathode active material are added into the solvent, and the solvent with the carbon nanotube source and the cathode active material is shaken using ultrasonic waves. The carbon nanotube source and the cathode active material are then separated from the solvent to obtain a lithium ion battery cathode.

A method for making a lithium ion battery cathode comprising: making a carbon nanotube source comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes; providing a cathode active material and a solvent, wherein the cathode active material comprises a plurality of cathode active material particles; adding the carbon nanotube source and the cathode active material into the solvent, and shaking the solvent with the carbon nanotube source and the cathode active material using ultrasonic waves to form a mixture in the solvent free of adhesive, and the mixture comprises the carbon nanotube source and the cathode active material; allowing the solvent to deposit the mixture at a bottom of the solvent by keeping the solvent still; and separating the mixture deposited at the bottom from the solvent to obtain the lithium ion battery cathode.
