PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor having an excellent strength even in the case where a revolving scroll is revolved at a high speed, and an air conditioner equipped with that scroll compressor.SOLUTION: A scroll compressor 1 comprises a revolving scroll 100 and a stationary scroll 200, by which an operative gas is compressed, and is characterized in that the revolving scroll 100 is formed of spheroidal graphite cast iron, and in that the stationary scroll 200 is formed of gray cast iron.
