PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that hardly catches a small stone, and can quickly discharge a small stone from a groove even if the small stone is caught in the groove.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire comprises: a groove 12 formed in a tread part and having a groove bottom surface 121 and groove side surfaces 122a, 122b rising from the groove bottom surface 121; and projections 3 projecting from the groove bottom surface 121. The projection 3 includes a lower step part 3L located at a lower position with reference to the groove bottom surface and a higher step part 3H located at a higher position with reference to the groove bottom surface. The lower step part 3L comprises: one side inclined surface 32a inclining in the depth direction of a lateral groove 12 along one groove side surface 122a in the groove 12; and the other side inclined surface 32b inclining in the depth direction of the lateral groove 12 along the other groove side surface 122b in the lateral groove 12. The one side inclined surface 32a and the other side inclined surface 32b incline in different directions. |
