PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably join webs fed from each of a plurality of raw fabrics in a roll state without changing web conveyance speed.SOLUTION: A web joining apparatus includes: a first feeding shaft where a plurality of raw fabrics are coaxially set; a second feeding shaft where a plurality of new raw fabrics are coaxially set; a paster nip device for pressing webs fed from each of the raw fabrics on the first feeding shaft to the new raw fabrics set on the second feeding shaft; and a cutting part for cutting the webs in the width direction between the first feeding shaft and the paster nip device. The paster nip device includes a plurality of paster nip rollers arranged side by side in the shaft direction of the second feeding shaft, and a plurality of paster nip drive parts for individually moving each of the paster nip rollers to the new raw fabrics set on the second feeding shaft. |
