PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external composition which can effectively inhibit the proliferation of genus Malassezia fungi.SOLUTION: An external composition is prepared by blending a steroidal anti-inflammatory agent with 2 wt.% or more monoterpene, the external composition used for inhibiting the proliferation of genus Malassezia fungi of at least one selected from the group consisting of Malassezia restricta and Malassezia globosa. |
