1,067,052. Recording tracks of particles. GENERAL ANILINE & FILM CORPORATION. March 30, 1965 [April 2, 1964], No. 13403/65. Heading G6P. The tracks of particles are recorded in a photographic emulsion, without chemical development. After exposure to the particles the photo-sensitive material is exposed to white light to render the track image visible. Suitable particles are electrons or ions accelerated in fields of from 2 to 100 kv. Slow neutrons may also be recorded. The white light may be 15- watt white fluorescent lamp 12 inches from the photographic material. The exposure to white light does not desensitize the material which may be used again for further particle recordings. Emulsions are employed of the form: Silver bromide .. .. 100 gms. Silver iodide .. .. .. .. 0À5 to 5 gms. Lead chloride .. .. .. .. 0À1 to 5 gms. Binder of gelatine or cellulose 50 to 75 gms.
