PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning type endoscope apparatus capable of limiting the quantity of laser light applied within a certain period of time.SOLUTION: An optical scanning type endoscope apparatus includes: scanning means for making the top of an object 100 scanned with light from a light source; a light quantity detection part 15 for detecting the quantity of the light from the light source; and a control part 31 for controlling output of the light source on the basis of the light quantity detected by the light quantity detection part. The control part controls the output of the light source on the basis of an integrated value of the light quantity over a predetermined period of time immediately before the light quantity is detected by the light quantity detection part. |
