PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control apparatus capable of efficiently decelerating a vehicle after the vehicle collides in the case of the collision occurring in a downhill, and suppressing a load exerted on a passenger by a seat belt in the case of the collision occurring in an uphill.SOLUTION: A vehicle control apparatus 10 includes an automatic brake control part 46 for automatically generating braking-force in a wheel 14 independently of a brake operation when a vehicle collides. The automatic brake control part 46 increases braking-force in a wheel 14 in the case of a downhill vehicle collision more than in the case of an uphill vehicle collision. |
