PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize radio communication between radio communication equipment and a reader/writer device.SOLUTION: Radio communication equipment such as a non-contact IC card and smartphone, performs radio communication with a reader/writer device in a non-contact manner. The radio communication equipment comprises plural antennas, the respective antennas are disposed on the same plane, and have different communication characteristics from each other depending on a distance with the reader/writer device. The first antenna is wirelessly connected to the reader/writer device in a first communication region, and the second antenna has communication characteristics better than that of the first antenna in a second communication region where a distance to the reader/writer device is shorter than a distance to the reader/writer device in the first communication region. The radio communication equipment compares a communication success rate in the first antenna with a communication success rate in the second antenna, and thereby selects the antenna to be used for communication with the reader/writer device. When the radio communication equipment approaches the vicinity of a null point, communication qualities of the respective antennas are compared with one another for selection of the antenna. |
