PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for cell culture capable of improving problems of a conventional sheet for cell culture and culturing cells at a higher success rate, and to provide a preferable manufacturing method of the sheet for cell culture.SOLUTION: A sheet for cell culture has a plurality of through-hole for settling cells dispersed in liquid into a plurality of groups. The sheet for cell culture has a sheet-like body part 11 provided with the through-holes Y, the through-hole Y at least has a funnel-shaped part Y1 whose area on a transverse section reduces as moving from a first opening, which exists on a top surface 11a being one principal surface of the body part 11, toward a bottom surface 11b being another principal surface. The sheet for cell culture further has a sheet-like expanded part 12 bulged to the outside from at least a partial section of an outer periphery of the body part. The expanded part 12 suppresses slippage of the sheet.
