PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of facilitating a flow of fuel near an axial center into an injection hole just before a valve is closed while pulverizing the fuel injected from the injection hole.SOLUTION: An edge of a fuel inlet 63 of an injection hole 34 includes a valve-seat-side edge portion 66 located near a valve seat 35 and an axial-center-side edge portion 67 located near an axial center AX1. The axial-center-side edge portion 67 is rounder than the valve-seat-side edge portion 66. That is, a minimum curvature radius of a wall surface forming the axial-center-side edge portion 67 is larger than a minimum curvature radius of a wall surface forming the valve-seat-side edge portion 66. On the other hand, the valve-seat-side edge portion 66 is a sharp edge sharper than the axial-center-side edge portion 67. If it is assumed that closest portions of the axial-center-side edge portion 67 to the axial center AX1 are closest portions 68, the injection hole 34 is formed to be tapered so as to increase a channel cross-sectional area from the fuel inlet 63 to the fuel outlet 65 in a cross-section passing through the axial center AX1 and the closest portions 68. |
