The present invention relates to a lid for a cooking vessel. A user can use the lid by conveniently putting the lid on the ground even hot steam of a cooking vessel is cut by the lid or vapor is formed on the surface of the lid, so the lid prevents damage to the body of the user, and enables a stable use.
