PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately change the control mode of a so-called packing control.SOLUTION: A hydraulic control manipulated variable generation device of an automatic transmission comprises, in an ECU 1, a hydraulic model calculation unit calculating a hydraulic model specifying a hydraulic command value of a pack pressure for realizing target execution time of a packing control and a piston stroke end pressure and output time of the hydraulic command value as control manipulated variables and including n (where n≥2) hydraulic control phases of the packing control constituted by a combination of the hydraulic command value and the output time; a control-manipulated-variable generation unit generating (2n-1) control manipulated variables; and a constraint-condition calculation unit calculating (2n-2) constraint conditions relating to a packing progress, the control-manipulated-variable generation unit generating the (2n-1) control manipulated variables on the basis of the target execution time, the piston stroke end pressure, and the (2n-2) constraint conditions. |
