PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zoom lens that corresponds to a large sensor and is reduced in size and weight while having a large aperture ratio and a high zoom ratio.SOLUTION: A zoom lens includes, in order from an object side: a positive first group U1 immovable during zooming; a negative second group U2 movable during zooming; at least one or more of lens groups movable during zooming; and their subsequent rear group. The first group has: an eleventh sub lens group U11 immovable during focusing; and a positive twelfth sub lens group U12 movable during focusing. The eleventh sub lens group includes a negative lens and a positive lens. When f1 represents a focal length of the first group, OK 11 represents a distance on the optical axis from a lens surface closest to an image side of the first lens group to a rear side principal point of the eleventh sub lens group, and ft represents a focal length of the zoom lens at a telephoto end, the zoom lens satisfies a conditional expression of -25.00<OK11/f1<-0.40, 2.00<ft/f1<7.00, where a direction from the object side to the image side is made positive. |
