PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retaining wall structure that significantly reduces costs, allowing a retaining wall having a three-dimensionally curved slope surface to be constructed freely without being bulky, using relatively light-weight retaining wall blocks instead of large volumes of crushed stones and gravels, and utilizing effectively wasted civil engineering materials and industrial wastes.SOLUTION: A retaining wall structure is constructed by piling retaining wall blocks in tiers on a foundation ground, the retaining wall structure comprising a retaining wall block of a hollow cylindrical form, a sandbag block disposed between a rear surface side of the retaining wall block and a slope surface, or inside the retaining wall block, and a filler filled in a space formed by an inner space of the retaining wall block and a space surrounding the sandbag block and defined by the sandbag block, the retaining wall block and the slope surface. |
