PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission line reduced in wind noise, wind pressure load, and corona noise in the case of providing at least three external strand layers.SOLUTION: A transmission line includes a steel core part, and at least three external strand layers provided by twisting a plurality of element wires outside the steel core part. A radial direction height from the outer peripheral surface of a smooth part element wire each of a first projection element wire and a second projection element wire is 1.9 mm-2.4 mm. A corner part of the outer peripheral side of each of the plurality of smooth part element wires is formed in a circular form. A curvature radius of the corner part of the outer peripheral side of the smooth part element wire is 1.3 mm-1.7 mm. A depth in the radial direction from the outer peripheral surface each of the first projection element wire and the second projection element wire to the outer peripheral surface of a groove part element wire is 1.8 mm-2.3 mm. Only one pair each of the first projection element wires, the second projection element wires, and the groove part element wires are provided on an outermost external strand wire layer, and the number of a plurality of element wires forming the outermost external strand wire layer is 16-20. |
