PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information application method and an information application device for reducing a labor on a user when applying additional information to an image.SOLUTION: The information application method includes: picking up, almost simultaneously with a first image to be picked up by a user, a second image in a direction different from that of the first image; detecting an object from the second image; extracting the featured value of the detected object; acquiring user information from the extracted featured value; confirming the acquired user information to the user to obtain the feedback of the conformation result; updating a featured value database 202 on the basis of the feedback; and applying the confirmed user information to the first image as additional information.
